About the Name
ModaLane (pronounced Moda-Lane with long o) is not just a name; rather, it is a respect for the rich heritage and values that have molded me into what I am today. "Moda" means fashion in the Bohemian language, which happens to be very close to my heart. Both sides of my family came from Bohemia, now called the Czech Republic, and both my grandmothers spoke Bohemian. Both of my grandmothers showed great examples of kindness and hospitality. This sense of warmth and generosity is what I wish to bring along into ModaLane.
I want every person who walks into ModaLane to feel as I did when I entered my grandmas' homes: comfortable, loved, and embraced. This is more than a store; it's a space created with heart, heritage, and a commitment to kindness.

The Store
What sets ModaLane apart is the experience we are able to provide for all customers. We have an almost 13,000 square foot store where we have 5 VIP Bridal Suites. We have upgrades that allow each bride to create an experience that she will remember forever. ModaLane has a wide variety of styles and sizes so each bride will be able to find her perfect dress.

My family and I have lived in this community for over 20 years and this is our home. My husband owns a business here as well. I have about 20 years of management experience and wanted to branch out and own my own business as well.
We wanted to create a great store for every customer, but we also wanted to do this for our community. Being a great place to work and bringing people in from outside of our community will be great benefits for our community as a whole. We are partners with our community and are grateful for the opportunity to bring this business to Aberdeen.
